TERMS OF SALE, PRODUCT USE CONDITIONS AND LIMITED WARRANTY
A. Parties and Scope
1. Seller / Warrantor
1.1 These terms are issued by TWG GB LTD (“2Forge”, “we”,“us”) in respect of 2Forge branded wheels.
1.2 Where products are supplied via authorised dealers ordistributors, the contract of sale is between the purchaser and the supplyingdealer or distributor. Any warranty claim must be initiated through theoriginal seller in accordance with Section F.
2. Definitions
“Road Wheel” means any 2Forge wheel model excluding ZF8 andZF9, intended for normal public-road driving conditions.
“Track Wheel” means 2Forge models ZF8 and ZF9, designed forincreased load capacity and use in track and performance driving environments, subject to the limitations set out in these terms.
“Track Use” means use on any closed course, circuit, trackday, timed event, competition, drifting, rally stage, or similar motorsportenvironment.
“Downforce Device” means any aerodynamic component intendedto increase vertical load on a vehicle, including but not limited to wings, splitters, diffusers, canards, and underbody aerodynamic systems.
“Slick Tyre / Track-Only Tyre” means any tyre not approvedfor road use in the relevant jurisdiction (including “NHS” tyres).
B. Correct Application, Load Rating and VehicleModifications
3. Correct Application and Fitment
3.1 The customer is responsible for ensuring that the wheelspecification is suitable for the intended vehicle, including (but not limitedto) diameter, width, offset, bolt pattern (PCD), centre bore, fastener type, and clearance to suspension, braking and body components.
3.2 Wheels must not be used outside applications andconstraints published or confirmed by 2Forge or its authorised dealers ordistributors.
4. Load Ratings
4.1 Each wheel is assigned a maximum load rating, which maybe marked on the product and/or published by 2Forge. This rating is a strictlimit and must not be exceeded.
4.2 The customer must ensure that the selected wheel issuitable for the vehicle and intended use.
4.3 The stated load rating applies to the total loadexperienced by the wheel in operation, including static vehicle load, dynamicforces, and any additional forces generated by vehicle modifications oraerodynamic effects.
4.4 Track Wheels (ZF8 and ZF9) are designed for increasedload conditions relative to Road Wheels; however, all load ratings remain fixedlimits and must not be exceeded under any operating condition.
5. Vehicle Modifications and Operating Conditions
5.1 General
5.1.1 All wheels must be used within their intendedoperating conditions. Vehicle modifications may significantly alter the loadsapplied to a wheel and must be considered when selecting an appropriateproduct.
5.2 Road Wheels
5.2.1 Road Wheels are designed for use on standard roadvehicles operating within normal public-road conditions.
5.2.2 Modifications including, but not limited to, alteredsuspension systems (such as extreme lowering, increased stiffness, orcompetition-grade components), increased vehicle mass, or use in severe roadconditions may significantly increase dynamic loading and impact forces beyondthose encountered in normal road use.
5.2.3 Aerodynamic devices can generate substantialadditional vertical load, increasing with vehicle speed. Road Wheels are notdesigned or validated for vehicles fitted with such devices.
5.2.4 Use of Road Wheels outside normal road conditions, including where modifications increase loading beyond intended limits, isconsidered misuse and voids all warranty coverage.
5.3 Track Wheels (ZF8 and ZF9)
5.3.1 Track Wheels are designed for performance driving andTrack Use, including use with higher grip tyres and increased vehicle loadingcompared to standard road conditions.
5.3.2 Track Wheels are not designed for unlimited oruncontrolled load conditions. Use in extreme applications, including but notlimited to professional motorsport, endurance racing, or vehicles generatingsignificant aerodynamic downforce, may exceed intended design parameters.
5.3.3 Where vehicles are fitted with significant aerodynamicdevices or intended for high-load motorsport applications, suitability must beconfirmed by 2Forge in writing prior to use. Any such confirmation is providedat 2Forge’s sole discretion, on a case-by-case basis, and does not create anyongoing obligation or general approval for similar applications.
5.3.4 Any written confirmation applies only to the specificvehicle configuration and use case described at the time of approval. Anychanges to vehicle specification, setup, or use invalidate such confirmation.
5.3.5 Use outside the intended scope of Track Wheels, including operation beyond their load rating or in extreme loading conditions, voids warranty coverage.
5.4 Advice and Approval
5.4.1 Any advice or guidance provided by dealers, distributors, or third parties does not constitute approval by 2Forge unlessconfirmed in writing by 2Forge.
C. Tyre Policy
6. Slick Tyres / Track-Only Tyres
6.1 Road Wheels must not be used with Slick Tyres orTrack-Only Tyres.
6.2 Track Wheels (ZF8 and ZF9) may be used with Slick Tyresor Track-Only Tyres where appropriate for Track Use, subject to all otherlimitations in these terms.
7. Semi-Slick / 200 Treadwear Tyres
7.1 Tyres commonly described as “semi-slick” are permittedonly where they are road-legal in the jurisdiction of use and meet or exceedthe vehicle manufacturer’s specified load index and speed rating.
7.2 Tyres must be correctly sized and fitted. Stretched, undersized, or otherwise non-recommended tyre fitment is prohibited.
D. Installation, Spacers and Modifications
8. Installation by Qualified Technicians
8.1 Wheels must be installed and maintained by a suitablyqualified technician using appropriate tools and procedures.
8.2 Fasteners must be torqued to the correct specification.Initial and periodic checks are the responsibility of the user.
8.3 Where practicable, clearance should be verified prior totyre mounting.
9. Spacers / Adapters
9.1 The use of spacers or adapters, of any type orthickness, is not permitted.
9.2 Any use of spacers or adapters places the productoutside its intended application and voids all warranty coverage.
10. Refinishing, Machining and Repairs
10.1 Any refinishing, machining, drilling, welding, straightening, heat treatment, or repair of a wheel is prohibited.
10.2 Any such modification voids all warranty coverage.
E. Warranty Structure
11. Warranty Coverage
11.1 Finish Warranty: 12 months from date of retailpurchase, covering manufacturing defects in surface finish only.
11.2 Structural Warranty: 36 months from date of retailpurchase, covering manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship, undernormal and intended use only.
12. Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
(a) Track Use on Road Wheels;
